The Monastery Dobrun is located in an attractive mountainous area in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the road connecting Uzice and Visegrad. The monastery is dedicated to Holly Mary and was erected by Serbian bishop Pribil  and his sons Stefan and Petar probably in 1343.

During a Turkish occupation of Balkan, the monastery was destroyed and later reconstructed and was abandoned between 18th and 19th century. The monastery was decorated with many frescoes. In the rocks above the monastery there is a cave whose entrance area was closed with stone blocks.
