"Marijin Dvor" - one of the most beautiful city squares in the capital Sarajevo

Marijin Dvor is one of the most beautiful city squares in the capital Sarajevo. In the vicinity are many important buildings, such as National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Holiday Inn Sarajevo, UNITIC World Trade Towers, Sarajevo City Center, Parliament building as well as Alta Shopping Sarajevo, Hastahana Skate Park and so on.

Holiday Inn Sarajevo, was home of foreign correspondents during 1984 Winter Olympics.

Eventually, the skyscrapers were built in 1980s. They were colloquially named "Momo and Uzeir" , beacuse of two characters from a radio comedy show. 

All in all, they were demolished during the Siege of Sarajevo.
