Old Orthodox Church and Museum, Sarajevo

Old Orthodox Church is dedicated to the Holy archangels Michael and Gabriel. It is one of the oldest religious buildings in Sarajevo.

It actually was built in the mid 16th century. The Church has repeatedly burned, but it was renewed, and have preserved its authentic look.

Eventully, it was completely reconstructed in 1726. The Museum of the Church is founded in 1889. and it is considered as one of the most important museums in the Orthodox world.
