Modriča, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The municipality of Modriča lies on the right bank of the river Bosna, where the slopes of the Balkan Dinaric Alps meet the northern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The area of Modriča is famous for its rare natural heritahe features, the combination of mountains and plains mutually overlap. Because of its geographical position, cultural heritage, nature with unspoiled scenery, numerous waterways, flora and fauna, this place has great opportunities for development of hunting, fishing, recreational and village tourism.

The most known tourist site is Duga njiva – a place perfect for excursions and relaxation on mountain Trebava. The cultural and historical monument, which dominates in the municipality, is the old town Dobor with its Dobor tower, the symbol of the city.
