Bosanski Petrovac

Bosanski Petrovac is located on the mild slopes of Grmeč, Oštrelj and Osječnica. Today, Bosanski Petrovac is among the newer urban areas in the Krajina. The town was built in Petrovac during Sultan Ahmed III.

This municipality has all the natural conditions for the development of the hunting and rural tourism. One of the most important destinations there is Old Town Bjelaj, located at the top of a hill, and it was declared a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2007.
