Šipovo

Šipovo is a beautiful Krajina town located in western Bosnia and Herzegovina. It lies on the pearly, mountain beauties, the rivers Pliva and Janj as well as on the small rivers Sokočnica, Lubovica and Volarica. 

Janjski Islands place is the most attractive local picnic area which is often visited by the citizens of neighboring towns and tourists. 

When it comes to the cultural and historical heritage of the municipality, an important site is Sokograd. 

Today, the site of Sokograd is also hardly accessible, but for history devotees, the visit to this site will surely be an exciting adventure.
