Jahorina is a mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located near Pale in the Dinaric Alps.

Jahorina is a mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located near Pale in the Dinaric Alps. Jahorina is located 15 km from Pale and 30 km from Sarajevo. It borders Mount Trebević, which is another Olympic mountain.

Jahorina's highest peak, has a summit elevation of 1,916 metres, making it the second-highest of Sarajevo's mountains, after Bjelašnica at 2,067 m.

In the 1984 Winter Olympics, mount Jahorina hosted the women's alpine skiing events.  Jahorina Olympic Ski Resort is the biggest and most popular ski resort in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It actually offers a variety of outdoor sports and activities. It is a destination for alpine skiing, snowboarding as well as hiking, and sledding. The average snow depth on ski runs during February is 106 cm.

Jahorina is reached by a 4 - to 6 - hour drive from all major cities in the region: Belgrade, Zagreb, Split, Podgorica, and Ljubljana.
