Majevica Mountain

Majevica is a low mountain range in northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, situated between Semberija, Posavina and Tuzla Canton. The highest peak is Stolice, about 10 miles from Tuzla, in the far southeastern part of the range.

The mountain is rich in forest and most of the range is located in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The are has been inhabitet since prehistoric times, with cities and towns located along the base of the range such as Srebrenik, Lopare, Čelić, Kalesija and Tuzla.
