Vlasenica is located in the eastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 100km from Sarajevo. The area of Vlasenica was held by feudal families dufring the medieval period. 

In Vlasenica you can enjoy beautiful rivers and experience crystal.clear freshwater springs (Tisce and Vidovica springs). Climate is mild continental with temperature increase for mountains.

Vlasenica region is also rich with numerous necropolises, tombstones and other medieval monuments. During the medieval period, Vlasenica was held by feudal families. Traces of their forts and castles are still visible in some areas.
