The Tomb of the Seven Brothers is a monument situated in the yard of the Čokadži haji Suleiman’s Mosque.
The Tomb of the Seven Brothers is a monument situated in the yard of the Čokadži haji Suleiman’s Mosque.
The mosque was built in 1538. Upon Suleiman-Pasha Skopljak’s order, the Tomb was built in 1815.
A legend says that one of the sheiks was buried here. It was the sheik who escorted Sultan Fatih on his arrival to Sarajevo.
Afterwards, two dervishes were killed and buried here. Moreover, if you visit the tomb, you must not go back the way you came.
