White Mosque is located in Vratnik, next to the devastated Jajce barracks. It is one of the oldest mosques in Sarajevo.
It was built by Haidar Divan Kjatib, the secretary of Gazi Husrev-Bey, after 1536 but before 1545, following the example of the Bey's Mosque.
Alongside the mosque, there are also maktab and clock tower. The clock towe was destroyed during the Austro-Hungarian authorities.
