Andrictown

Andrictown or Andrićgrad is a cultural as well as educational complex. It is located in Višegrad. This is a project of a glorious film director Emir Kusturica. The stone town is created by a Nobel Prize winner Ivo Andric. 

Actually, the architecture is a mix of different periods as well as styles such as: the Byzantine style, the Ottoman period, the Renaissance, the Classicism. There are main objects of Andrićgrad, including Ivo Andric institute with a centre for Slavic languages and Fine arts Academy.

There are also Town hall, renaissance theatre, multiplex cinema as well as accommodation objects. Andrićgrad beacame one of the significant tourist attractions in the region, together with Mehmed pasha bridge and Drina river boat cruise
