Liplje is a mountain village located near Zvornik, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Liplje is a mountain village located near Zvornik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Within Liplje there are six settlements: Liplje, Jošanica, Bajrići, Samara, Kadrići, and Bećirovići.

In early July 1943, the Yugoslav Partisan 1st Proletarian Brigade, attempted to liberate occupied Zvornik from the Wehrmacht and the troops of the occupying Independent State of Croatia.

Bosniak returnees experience discrimination fell into the hands of Republika Srpska after the war. Theere was also elementary school in Liplje, which taught around 400 children before the war, but nowadays, it has only 20 students.

Liplje is one of the stops during the annual Marš mira or March of Peace.
