The Anti-Fascist Council for the National Liberation of Yugoslavia, known more commonly by its Yugoslav abbreviation AVNOJ, was the political umbrella organization for the national liberation councils of the Yugoslav resistance against the Axis occupation during World War II.

It was established on November 26, 1942. The AVNOJ museum is in the southern part of Jajce. These states decided to renounce their sovereignty to become part of the federal government of Yugoslavia. 

Inside the hall, there is a set with rows of wooden chairs facing a lecturn as well as a small stage set with a red-cloth table. Outside there's a tiny narrow-guage steam loco.
