Velež Mountain

The Velež mountain is a mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in the south-central part of the Herzegovina region, overlooking the largest refional city of Mostar. Three largest settlements in the Velež region include Nevesinje, located in a seculaded mountain valley, Blagaj, small historic settlement near Buna river, and the Podvelež village, situated below the summit of mountain.

The place is ideal for alpinists, climbers and ecotourism enthusiasts.
