Bentbaša is one of the most beautiful parts of Sarajevo, along the river Miljacka. A wooden bridge, built in 1793, that served removing wood piles, were lowered into the Pale Miljacka river and transported to the city.

Tomrukčije or line traders were pulled from the water. With the arrival of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1884, there were built beach Yes Rive. 

Road construction to Kozija bridge, breached the tunnel and built today's People's spa, was opened on 20 July 1902. Here, Sarajke washed their clothes as well as carpets and were driving Kerep.
