Koski Mehmed pasha’s mosque, Mostar

Koski Mehmed pasha’s mosque is also one of the most significant in our country. It is situated in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This beautiful mosque is finalized in 1618. This is the second biggest mosque in Mostar. It is slightly smaller than Karadjoz-bey mosque. However, it is non the less of a similar figure. 

The interior of the mosque is around 12,4x12,4 meters. It is located just 150 meters north of the Old bridge. This location gives an amazing view over the Old town from the minaret  of the mosque.

Koski Mehmed pasha’s mosque was almost demolished in the recent war, but forunately, is now rebuilt.
