Partisan Memorial Cemetery in Mostar

The Partisan Memorial Cemetery is situated in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In honor of the Yugoslav Partisans of Mostar, it was built in 1965.

This Partisan Memorial Cemetery represents all the features of a complex architectural design. It is a unique monument in the urban scale of the city of Mostar.

In 1992, the cemetery was demolished by war, but after the war this cemetery aggravated due to severe neglect, vandalism and devastation. In 2005, different sections of the complex were reconstructed and it was opened on 9 May 2005. 

In 2006, the cemetery was declared a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
