Choco-Coconut Squares (Čupavci)

The choco-coconut squares are a common and frequent at the table of many Bosnian families.

So, in Bosnian language, the choco-coconut squares  have a prticular term. It is really a litlle bit weird as well as funny. 

However, this sweetmeat is one of the most popular. It is delicious and easily made.

Ingredients for the batter:

5 eggs

125 g sugar

1 pack vanilla sugar 

150 g flour

50 g plain bread crumbs

160 ml milk

For the chocolate-coconut dip:

150 g semi-sweet or dark chocolate

150 g butter

100 g sugar

150 ml  milk

150-200 g coconut 

150 g heated raspberry jam
