Sana River

Sana river is also one of the most significant in our country. It is in the north-western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is the affluent of the Una, into which it flows near Novi Grad. It is the longest of the nine rivers that flow through Sanski Most.

The sources of the Sana are near Baraći. Sana produced three karstic sources and branch known as the Koran, not far from the village of Pecka.

It flows through Sanski and Prijedor valley as well as cities, such as: Sanski Most and Prijedor where receives Gomjenica, changing northern direction to the west.

The source branch of the river Sane is Sanica.
