Bregava River

The Bregava river is also one of the most significant in our country. It passes through the Stolac town and it is a left affluent of the Neretva river.

The river Bregava and its bridges, mills and stamping mills constitutes the support of the disposition of Stolac.

However, it passes through two waterfalls in Stolac, one which is natural and the other artificial, and continue its way through the Bregava canyon leading to Badanj Cave.

The river Bregava is well- known for its pure blue colour. Many natural beaches are spread along this river.

The river has a rich flora biodiversity, wild peppermint, sage as well as thyme almond trees and numerous fruit trees
