Lukavac

Lukavac is municipality in northeastern area in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This town is the place of a municipality within the Tuzla Canton.  

Lukavac covers a zone of 352,66 km2. It divides boundaries with municipalities such as: Tuzla, Živinice, Banovići, Zavidovići, Maglaj, Petrovo as well as Gračanica and Srebrenik.

In the 1991, municipality Lukavac had 56,830 residents. Bosniaks about 66.8%, Serbs 21.5%, then Croats 3.8% and others about 8%.
