The Yellow Fortress, Sarajevo

Yellow Fortress an old site where you can have a beautiful and pleasurable view of Sarajevo. Yellow Bastion served as View point for soldiers back in days when Sarajevo was just inside the city walls.

It served as one of the defense points against the Austro-Hungarian troops in 1878. The fortress was damaged and rebuilt several times.

The most recent renovation took place in 1998.
