The ancestry of The Behram Bey's Madrassah as well as Behram Bey's Mosque date back centuries and it was built in the Arab-Moorish style. Throughout the history, the Behram Bey's Madrassah has been restored and rebuilt.
This theological school was closed during socialist Yugoslavia, but it reopened 1992-1995. The current location of the madrassah and the mosque distinguishes from the original place.
