Prenj Mountain

Prenj mountain is for sure one of the most beautiful and most impressive mountain range in Bosnia & Herzegovina and the most beautiful mountain massif of whole Dinaric Alps. Prenj is the Kingdom of incredible divine mountain beauty. Whatever you might call it, Prenj mountain has long been carrying the epithet of the master of Bosnian mountains, whose sharp and elegant peaks and impressive reefs overlook the entire Hercegovina. 

It is surrounded by natural and artificial lakes: Boracko lake, Jablanicko lake, Grabovica lake, Salakovac, and the river Neretva,  Ljuta,  Neretvica, Bijela and Drezanka. At the foot of the mountain are three cities: Konjic, Jablanica and Mostar. Prenj Mountain is one of the highest mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its highest peak is 2155m - called Green Head. The Peaks of mountain Prenj are interesting and attractive for hikers who enjoy in the nature charms.

Each mountain is unique, by it’s forests, peaks, mountain lakes, legends…simply, by itself, but to local as well as foreign mountaineers, alpinists, mountain biking enthusiasts and adventurer, Prenj is almost a mythical mountain.
