Typical ingredients includetomatoes, potatoes, onions, garlic, bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, spinach, courgette, dried and fresh beans, plums, milk, paprika and cream called pavlaka and kajmak.

Bey's soup is a popular Bosnian soup made of meat and vegetables. It is a traditional dish. The soup's main ingredients are chicken meat, vegetables such as potato, beans, carrot, pepper, salt, spices, celery and parsley. Bey’s Soup is prepared during the holidays in Bosnia and Herzegovina or some other festive occasions.
