Drvenija Bridge, Sarajevo

The Drvenija Bridge is a bridge located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The bridge was built during the Austro-Hungarian reign in 1898 and crosses the River Miljacka.

Near the bridge on the left bank is located the military command, and the First Gymnasium school. As the bridge was usually swollen up by the river Miljacka, in the 1980s the wooden structure of the bridge had to be replaced by the concrete, and the wooden fence was preserved. 

The bridge itself is a place where the love of Sarajevo scholars begins, since it is placed between, First Gymnasium school, School of Practical Arts, and the Academy of Scientific Arts.
