Roman bridge
Roman bridge (bos. Rimski most) is a old bridge located near Ilidza and Sarajevo.

Roman bridge (bos. Rimski most) is a old bridge located near Ilidza and Sarajevo not so far from the beginning of river Bosna. It is one of the four remaining old bridges in Sarajevo and now it doesn't have it's real function because the old road that leads to Roman bridge is not functional now.

The bridge is made by stone blocks as a low structure with seven arches. It is long 40 meters and wide 4,5 meters. It is strange that this bridge is called Roman bridge due the fact that it is built in the time of Ottoman rule in this area, but some historians say that is possible that there was before an old bridge in Roman times.

Some of the stones used in the building of the bridge has some antic carvings on it so the name "Roman bridge" stays until today.
