Visoko city, during the rule of the Bosnian Kingdom, was a significant cultural as well as educational centre of the Bosnian Church. Old Town called „Čajangrad“ is medieval fortress, served to protect Bobovac from enemies. Nowadays, it represents an archaeological area.
The fortress was revealed when a few locals found a stone structure with windows. Those findings show that Stjepan II Kotromanić as well as Tvrtko Kotromanić dwelled there. This is also the place where Tvrtko was crowned and buried at the Church of St. Nicholas.
