Goulash

Goulash is a soup of meat or stew as well as vegetables, seasoned with paprika and other spices. It is a popular meal in Central Europe, Scandinavia and Southern Europe although it originates from the medieval Kingdom of Hungary.

Back to the 9th century, the cooked and flavored meat was dried with the help of the sun and it was also packed into bags, generated from sheep's stomachs, needing only water to make it into a meal.

It is one of the national dishes in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as a symbol of the country.
