The Vraca Memorial Park is one of the most significant in our country Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Vraca Memorial Park is one of the most significant in our country Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a park devoted to the World War II sufferers in Sarajevo.

It includes 78,000 square meters and also mentions the names of 11,000 men, women, as well as children murdered during World War II. Construction of this park began in April 1980 and was comleted in November 1981. 

The Memorial Park was opened on November 25, 1981. It was the "Day of Statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina" in Bosnia and Herzegovina commemorationg the date that ZAVNOBIH held their first meeting in 1943.

The park was systematically demolished in 1996, by VRS forces, after the signing of the Dayton Agreement. Anywise, in 2005, the Vraca Memorial Park  was declared a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
